Deborah Horwitz, PA-C
Deborah is the founder of PreparedPA. She is a dermatology PA in Memphis, TN and an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center Physician Assistant Program. She graduated from the Baylor College of Medicine Physician Assistant Program in 2010.
While working in politics in Washington DC after college, she found herself in a quarter-life crisis, not sure which way she wanted her career path to go.
Once she discovered the PA profession, she navigated the entire process of applications and interviews, wishing there was someone who could have given her advice and helped support her along the way.
Through her extensive experience interviewing PA school candidates for a top program, she understands what admissions committees want to see in applications and during interviews.
